Gen Fonseka returns all vehicles and security men: Military spokesman

Gen (retd) Sarath Fonseka has handed over all his vehicles and army bodyguards back to the Defence Ministry last night, military spokesman Brig Udaya Nanayakkara said.

He said that four vehicles including the bullet proof vehicle and 20 guards were handed over. 

JVP MP Vijitha Herath said that as a result Gen Fonseka has been left without security. 

"Even as the former Army Commander he does not have his security", he said. 

Gen Fonseka who was surrounded by troops at Cinnamon Lake Hotel yesterday left the place last night to his house.
